Hand-made entirely in-house These tools are built for both the avid home mixologist and the pro bartender. All of the tools are forged from stainless steel, 316 for the tools, and AEB-L for the knife. This is so the kit is low maintenance, and can handle being in damp conditions. I decided to use white oak for the handles and the muddler because it is what whisky and wine barrels have been made from for generations. White oak is extremely durable and has a great feel in the hand. The muddler has been gently charred to seal the grain, and the handles on the ice pick and bottle opener have been as well. The bar knife is a very task-oriented design, with plenty of bellies to slice through all types of citrus, and a delicate tip to carve all types of garnishes. The AEB-L blade has been heat-treated to approximately 62 Rockwell, and the edge has been ground to a nice and sturdy convex. The brushed finish helps food to release and stays good-looking for a long time. The Tool Roll was hand sewn from high-quality waxed canvas, my personal favorite material for utilitarian purposes. This material repels water and develops a great look over time.
