For all your kitchen surfaces Wood cutting boards, knife handles & utensils: Wipe on with a lint free towel and rub into grain. The friction from this process will warm up the wax and help it work into the wood. Let set and then buff lightly for a subtle sheen. This helps resist water and other liquids. Repeat as needed to keep wood from drying out.   Knives: Wash and dry knives by hand and never in a dishwasher. A thin coat of Kitchen Cream will help maintain all blades from acidic oils and liquids from your fingerprints to tomato juice. Good for stainless, carbon steel and damascus knives. We use it on all our knives at edge of normal workshop!   Cast iron: Wash your cast iron cookware by hand. For stubborn, stuck-on food, simmer a little water for 3-5 minutes, then use a plastic scraper after the pan has cooled to the touch. Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. We also like to warm on the stove burner on low to ensure it’s completely dry. Rub a light layer of Kitchen Cream onto the surface of your cookware. Use a paper towel to wipe the surface until no oil residue remains.   Hands: Although we do not make claims that this will help your hands or skin, our kitchen cream does have the same all natural ingredients as some skin care products. Our personal experience using it after scrubbing dirty shop hands has also been very positive. Judge for yourself.
